Kenya – Kiru Kamagogo AA (Washed) - Filter 200g

This washed batch comes from the Kamagogo Coffee Factory, one of the four car washes managed by the Kiru Farmers' Cooperative Society, active since the 1970s in Murang'a County, Kenya. The cooperative brings together about 3,500 small producers, of which nearly 1,000 deliver their harvests to the Kamagogo station.

Located at an altitude of 1,800 m, the region benefits from red volcanic soils rich in minerals. The SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11 and Batian varieties are cultivated with care, harvested by hand and then treated wet before slow drying on African beds. Committed to sustainability, the cooperative promotes responsible water management, reforestation and continuous training of producers.

This magnificent batch brings us bright notes of lime, rhubarb and red currant, with a beautiful acidity typical of the Kenyan terroir.
